Reunion Agenda - Saturday, July 19th, 2014

4:30 - 5:30 p.m. Meet and Greet in the Lobby
of the Embassy Suites LAX South

5:30 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. - Reunion at Embassy Suites with
Dinner around 7:00 p.m. in the "60's Room"

COST: $45.00 which includes Dinner
Will provide menu selections at later date
Free Parking in the hotel garage for event.
If spending the night, there is plenty of free parking on the street.
Otherwise, there is a charge for overnight parking

Saturday, July 19th, 2014, 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
What: Private Tour of the Flight Path Museum and
Group Bus tour of the LAX Field
Where: Flight Path Museum
(Old West Imperial Terminal Building)

How: Sign up with Cheryl, There is no charge for the tour.

We will see a short history of LAX dvd, and/or also see the landing of the Endeavor at LAX, see the displays at the museum and then go on a 40 minute behind the scenes bus tour of the airport field. On the tour, they will narrate the history of LAX for the last 50 years ( coincidentally to our 50th), and view airplanes being used today. We will also see the new Bradley West International Terminal that will be on the route. The tour is free and the capacity is 40 people. Our group will remain on the bus for the whole tour. I already have 30 to date who have signed up. Let me know if you'd like to be a part of this tour. ~ Cheryl.

Sunday, July 20th, 2014, 7:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
What: BREAKFAST
Where: Embassy Suites LAX South (For those staying at the Embassy Suites)

We have a good group staying at the hotel. The cooked to order Breakfast is from 7-10:30a.m We could meet for breakfast around 9:30 a.m. (we can put tables together for our group). ~ Cheryl.

Where Automobile Driving Museum
Go to Automobile Driving Museum El Segundo near LAX,

After breakfast, around 11:00 a.m. we could check out of the hotel and visit the Automobile Driving Museum in El Segundo (very close to the hotel).

Rides offered on Sundays (last ride at 3:30p.m. Admission..Donation

There is a great display of classic cars. On Sunday, free rides are offered in 3 of the cars (specific cars will be listed ahead of time).

For those not staying at the hotel, they could still meet us at the museum.

Once your check is received, your name will be posted on the Attending List. The 50th only comes around once! You definitely do not want to Miss this Reunion! This is the link for the "Courtesy Block of Hotel Rooms". Price should include afternoon cocktails and full breakfast. The block will be most valuable when room rates start to rise based on occupancy levels and summer season.
